Sara is a born builder/problem-solver. Whether puzzling out a project in the shop with saws and chisels or on the computer with clicks and pixels, her passion is building new ideas. An interdisciplinary designer, she has worked with independent design mavens like Lindsey Adelman in New York as well as the iconic handcrafted California brand Heath Ceramics. Most recently she helped develop the visual strategy for the education department at Autodesk–the software company for people who make things. If money were no object, you would find her making art in a sunny hill-top studio in the South of France. Her secret superpower is spreadsheet and PowerPoints whisperer and her animal avatar is a raccoon – a clever, resourceful bandit.
